1 . Question
Is it safe for the horse
to put different sized boots on RT and LT hind
feet? For example, #3 on the left hind and #2 on
the right hind.
|
1. Answer
Most important for safety is, that the boots
fit correctly!
The right size is very important. The marquis
supergrip needs to fit tight to the hoof. With our
special air chamber you can adjust the marquis
supergrip to the hoof. If the horses hoofs are
different in size and shape choose the right size
for each hoof. Of course you may also choose two
different sizes on the RT and LT hind feet.

| 2. Question
Is it ok to use the marquis boots on only the front or the
hind feet? |
| 2. Answer
"It is no problem to use the marquis supergrip on only
the hind hoofs (or the front hoofs). It does not matter if
the boots are a bit higher than metal shoes. The boots are
also often used on the front hoofs only and the hind hoofs
are barefoot." |
3. Question
Why does the Marquis
boot only use width measurements of the hoof and not
hoof length measurements when fitting?
|
| 3. Answer
The width measurement is important for the fitting of the
boot. The length of the hoof, however, can be adapted
by the inflated air chamber. |
